Evaluation of Community Health Volunteers Training on Early Detection Skills of Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Background: achievement of coverage numbers cases pulmonary TB that meet the target impact on prevention disease transmission, complications, and even death due to TB. Increasing capacity community health volunteers as partners workers in early detection becomes a program needs be considered.Purpose: this study aims identify effect volunteer training tuberculosis.Methods: design used quasi-experimental pre-test post-test types with control group. The was conducted February-March 2020 working area Kutowinangun Primary Health Care Facilities. total sample 32 for each intervention group selected by purposive sampling based inclusion exclusion criteria. instruments were observation sheets modules developed researchers. 5 sessions over days duration 60 minutes per session. Data analysis using paired t-test independent t-test. This research has passed ethical test from Ethics Committee Faculty Public Health, University Muhammadiyah Semarang.Results: there an volunteers' improving skills significantly p-value = 0,000 (p 0.05).Conclusion: refreshments must planned annual work plan design.
